8 AI Style Review Examples

Use these examples to study structure, specificity, tone, and variation. They are demonstrations—not claims about a real person or organization unless the example itself makes that explicit.

What to notice in the examples

A reliable AI style review uses an explicit style sheet, asks for findings rather than silent rewrites, checks examples against the source text, and separates objective rules from subjective preferences so the writer can accept or reject each suggestion knowingly.

  • Style source: a documented house style, assignment rule, brand guide, or project-specific style sheet.
  • Review scope: the exact dimensions to check, such as terminology, capitalization, voice, headings, sentence length, or forbidden phrases.
  • Finding format: original text, issue, relevant rule, suggested change, and confidence/uncertainty.
  • Human decision: verify each finding and apply only changes that preserve meaning and voice.
1

Terminology review: flag places where “customer,” “client,” and “user” refer to the same role, then let the editor choose the approved term.

2

Heading review: identify title-case headings in a sentence-case documentation system and cite the relevant project rule.

3

Tone review: find phrases that sound promotional inside a neutral support article without rewriting technical instructions.

4

Voice review: flag passive constructions only where the style guide prefers active voice and the actor is known.

5

Consistency review: identify three spellings of the same product feature and return the exact lines for correction.

6

Sentence-pattern review: note a cluster of eight sentences beginning with “You can” so the editor can decide whether rhythm has become repetitive.

7

Accessibility review: flag link text such as “click here” when the style sheet requires descriptive action labels.

8

Fiction review: compare a chapter against a character voice sheet and flag vocabulary that feels inconsistent, while leaving deliberate code-switching for human judgment.

Turn an example into your own writing

Keep the underlying decision or pattern, then replace the subject, evidence, relationship, constraints, and tone with details that belong to your situation. If your final line still works after swapping only one noun, it may be too close to the example.
