What to notice in the examples
Effective onboarding copy is progressive, task-focused, and specific about why each step matters; it avoids teaching every feature before the user has a reason to care.
- Orient the user around the first valuable outcome.
- Ask only for information needed at the current step.
- Explain permissions, setup choices, and progress in plain language.

Keep the underlying decision or pattern, then replace the subject, evidence, relationship, constraints, and tone with details that belong to your situation. If your final line still works after swapping only one noun, it may be too close to the example.
