What to notice in the examples
The distinction becomes useful when analyzing scale and duration: a single human action given to weather may be personification, whereas an animal who speaks, chooses, argues, and participates as a character is anthropomorphic.
- Personification: a nonhuman subject receives a human action, emotion, intention, or quality.
- Anthropomorphism: a nonhuman subject functions more fully as a humanlike agent or character.
- Overlap is possible when a personified subject is developed repeatedly.
- Analysis should explain what the human qualities accomplish, not only label the device.

A fox who owns a shop, lies to customers, and worries about rent is anthropomorphic because the fox functions as a humanlike character.

Keep the underlying decision or pattern, then replace the subject, evidence, relationship, constraints, and tone with details that belong to your situation. If your final line still works after swapping only one noun, it may be too close to the example.
