Awkward Scene Template 1
Awkward scene Person A wants: [x] Person B wants: [x] Mismatch: [x] Moment noticed: [x] Repair/exit attempt: [x] Consequence: [x]
Start with structure, then replace every placeholder with information that is true, relevant, and natural for your context. These templates are intentionally skeletal so your final writing does not sound mass-produced.
A strong awkward scene gives each participant a concrete goal, shows where expectations stop matching, lets silence or action carry some of the discomfort, and changes the relationship or next decision. It avoids reducing social awkwardness to caricature, diagnosis, or a checklist of nervous gestures.
