Dynamic Character Template 1
Arc line: Starts believing [belief] → challenged by [event] → doubles down through [choice] → learns [insight] → proves change by [final action].
Start with structure, then replace every placeholder with information that is true, relevant, and natural for your context. These templates are intentionally skeletal so your final writing does not sound mass-produced.
A convincing dynamic arc shows a traceable causal path from the starting pattern through tests, failures, discoveries, and decisions to new behavior; the change may be positive, negative, partial, or tragic but should be earned by events.
Arc line: Starts believing [belief] → challenged by [event] → doubles down through [choice] → learns [insight] → proves change by [final action].
Negative arc: Starts with [value] → compromises for [reason] → receives [reward] → escalates compromise → ending reveals [cost].
Final-test frame: The climax recreates [early dilemma], but now the character chooses [new behavior] instead of [old behavior].
Change evidence: Do not say “I changed.” Show [specific action, refusal, sacrifice, or relationship behavior].
