Ethos analysis: By [specific choice], the speaker presents [quality/authority], which may increase trust among [audience] because [reason].
Start with structure, then replace every placeholder with information that is true, relevant, and natural for your context. These templates are intentionally skeletal so your final writing does not sound mass-produced.
Strong rhetorical analysis identifies the specific textual choice, explains how it builds credibility, emotion, or reasoning for a particular audience, and evaluates its role in the argument instead of merely labeling sentences.
