How to personalize a template

A strong guilt description connects the emotion to what the character believes they did, failed to do, or benefited from. It can appear through choices, memory, repair attempts, secrecy, self-justification, or dialogue, while avoiding the false idea that visible behavior can reliably identify guilt.
