SMART Goal Template 1
By [date], [deliver/change outcome] from [baseline] to [target], measured by [metric], while maintaining [quality guardrail].
Start with structure, then replace every placeholder with information that is true, relevant, and natural for your context. These templates are intentionally skeletal so your final writing does not sound mass-produced.
A useful SMART goal names the result rather than only the activity, defines an observable measure or completion condition, fits the person’s actual control and resources, connects to a meaningful objective, and includes a realistic review or completion date.
