Soft Skills Template 1
Soft-skill evidence statement Skill: [x] Situation: [x] Action you personally took: [x] Observable result or useful effect: [x] Resume version: [verb + action + context/result]
Start with structure, then replace every placeholder with information that is true, relevant, and natural for your context. These templates are intentionally skeletal so your final writing does not sound mass-produced.
A strong soft-skill statement is specific to the role, supported by an observable behavior or result, and written without inflated self-praise. The reader should be able to see what the person did that demonstrates communication, collaboration, leadership, adaptability, organization, judgment, or another claimed capability.
