Statement of Purpose Template 1
Direction: I want to study [specific area/question] because [evidence-based motivation].
Start with structure, then replace every placeholder with information that is true, relevant, and natural for your context. These templates are intentionally skeletal so your final writing does not sound mass-produced.
An effective statement of purpose is intellectually specific, demonstrates preparation through evidence, names realistic questions or areas of interest, and shows program fit without pretending to have a final research agenda already solved.
