Start with structure, then replace every placeholder with information that is true, relevant, and natural for your context. These templates are intentionally skeletal so your final writing does not sound mass-produced.
A strong thank-you note sounds recognizably connected to the actual person and occasion. It names the specific act or gift, gives one concrete sentence about its value or effect, avoids exaggerated gratitude or repayment language, and closes at the right level of warmth for a friend, host, colleague, mentor, customer, interviewer, or other recipient.
