Target: The passage satirizes [target] by [technique].
Start with structure, then replace every placeholder with information that is true, relevant, and natural for your context. These templates are intentionally skeletal so your final writing does not sound mass-produced.
Strong satire analysis identifies the actual target, the satirical technique, the norm or expectation being distorted, and the criticism produced by that distortion without assuming the narrator and author share the same views.
Target: The passage satirizes [target] by [technique].
Norm gap: In ordinary practice, [expected norm]; the text exaggerates/inverts this into [satirical version].
Effect: The humor exposes [problem] because readers recognize [contradiction].
Narrator distinction: Although the narrator claims [view], [ironic evidence] makes that claim unreliable and directs criticism toward [target].
