Punjab National Bank UPI — PNB ONE & BHIM PNB

PNB UPI profile centered on the current PNB ONE/BHIM PNB stack, with PNB ONE 2.0 UPI Lite/Mandate/Credit Line support, separate UPI 123PAY access and first-party RuPay credit-card-on-UPI merchant capability.

First-party evidencePublished researchReviewed September 11, 2026Active
Eligible funding sourceRequires an eligible PNB or supported linked bank account for account-funded UPI. PNB ONE 2.0 also supports UPI Lite/Mandate/Credit Line functionality, while eligible PNB RuPay credit cards are a separate merchant-payment funding source.
UPI / security limitsPNB's current public PNB ONE/UPI pages reviewed in this wave do not publish one clean ordinary UPI daily value ceiling. A legacy PNB UPI terms page still states ₹50,000/day, so v1.37 does not present that older figure as a current universal limit without fresher controlling evidence.
Payment / channel costNo separate ordinary consumer UPI subscription fee is modeled from PNB's current public UPI/mobile pages. Account/card, telecom and any specialized product charges remain separate.
Payment / funding relationshipPNB ONE/BHIM PNB account-funded UPI, UPI Lite, UPI Credit Line, UPI 123PAY and PNB RuPay-credit-card-on-UPI are distinct funding/channel states. Card-funded UPI remains merchant-oriented and does not become P2P account transfer.

Critical decision facts

Channel scope and security state determine what the published limit really means.

Rail, channel, beneficiary, cooling, authentication and recovery rules stay separate instead of being compressed into one generic digital-banking number.

Exact product-type evidence

UPI payment service evidence stays in its own structure.

Specialist fields below remain source-scoped. Missing values stay missing; one banking product type is never used to manufacture facts for another.

UPI control map

Separate the funding source, steady-state limit and temporary security state.

UPI is not represented by one universal ₹1 lakh number. Bank/app risk controls, device cooling, Lite, card-funded merchant UPI and mandate rules are kept in their own fields. Reviewed September 10, 2026.

UPI app / channelPNB ONE 2.0 and BHIM PNB for smartphone UPI; PNB also offers UPI 123PAY over IVR for eligible feature-phone/no-internet use and card-funded UPI for eligible PNB RuPay credit cards.
Registration / linkingPNB ONE self-onboarding can use debit card, Aadhaar-based view credentials, Internet Banking credentials or branch mode; UPI registration then links eligible account/mobile and establishes UPI PIN. UPI 123PAY provides a separate IVR account/PIN setup route.
AuthenticationPNB ONE uses MPIN/biometric for app access and TPIN/OTP for bank transactions, while UPI flows use UPI PIN. PNB's 123PAY IVR can set a UPI PIN using debit-card details, ATM PIN and OTP when required.
Steady-state limitsNo fresh universal PNB account-funded UPI daily ceiling is hard-coded from the 2026 public PNB ONE/UPI pages. The engine retains the older ₹50,000/day figure only as legacy evidence and requires the live PNB ONE/BHIM PNB control for current high-value usage.
New-user / device coolingNo current PNB-specific first-registration/device-change UPI cooling amount is asserted from the reviewed 2026 source set. Live app/risk controls remain controlling.
UPI LitePNB's January 2026 results material states PNB ONE 2.0 supports UPI Lite. Current numeric system limits are kept at the RBI/NPCI framework (₹1,000 per transaction, ₹5,000 stored balance) rather than the bank's much older launch-era Lite material.
RuPay credit card on UPIPNB's current credit-card portal supports linking eligible PNB RuPay credit cards to listed UPI apps and paying merchant QR/online UPI flows using UPI PIN. The card-funded path is treated as P2M, not as a P2P/receive-funds account substitute.
AutoPay / mandatesPNB ONE 2.0 explicitly supports UPI Mandate. Mandates are stored as recurring authorization rather than being assigned the old PNB ONE generic mobile-banking limit.
UPI Circle / delegated paymentsNo current PNB first-party source in this review set is used to assert UPI Circle support. Delegated payments remain evidence-gated instead of being inferred from NPCI availability.
Merchant / QR controlsPNB ONE supports Scan & Pay and QR generation; BHIM PNB supports merchant payments. PNB also documents UPI 123PAY transfers through IVR, while RuPay credit-card UPI is merchant-funded only.
Failure / dispute / recoveryPNB ONE provides UPI transaction history and blocking. PNB's current UPI/123PAY pages publish bank support routes; card-linking issues use the card portal/customer-care path and ordinary payment disputes should follow the relevant UPI/app bank channel.
Maintained terms

Fees, balances, benefits, limits and eligibility without a single-score shortcut.

These six fields are the cross-product layer. The specialist section above controls whenever a type-specific field is more precise.

Payment / channel costNo separate ordinary consumer UPI subscription fee is modeled from PNB's current public UPI/mobile pages. Account/card, telecom and any specialized product charges remain separate.

PNB states PNB ONE 2.0 has complete UPI integration including Lite, Mandate and UPI Credit Line; PNB separately operates BHIM PNB and UPI 123PAY IVR.
UPI / security limitsPNB's current public PNB ONE/UPI pages reviewed in this wave do not publish one clean ordinary UPI daily value ceiling. Fit & cautions

Who this record appears designed for—and what can break the fit.

Best-fit wording summarizes the published proposition. It is not individualized financial advice or an approval prediction.

Potential fit

PNB customers who want the current mobile/UPI feature set and alternate UPI 123PAY/card-funded routes mapped without relying blindly on an old ₹50,000 bank limit document.

Verify before relying
  • PNB's older UPI terms and old PNB ONE FAQ state ₹50,000 UPI transfer limits, but the current 2026 PNB ONE/UPI pages do not restate that ceiling; v1.37 marks the ordinary limit as requiring live/current confirmation instead of reviving stale documentation.
  • PNB ONE's overall mobile-banking transaction limit of up to ₹10 lakh covers multiple rails and must not be misreported as the UPI limit.
  • PNB RuPay credit cards can be linked for merchant QR/UPI payments, but that evidence does not imply P2P transfer or receiving capability on the card.
Maintained comparisons

Compare this product only where the pair is deliberately maintained.

Both sides keep independent review dates, exact conditions and first-party evidence. No winner score is generated.

First-party source ledger

Complete evidence set for this maintained profile.

Each source remains independent. A product page, tariff, KFS/MITC, rate schedule or programme document is not silently treated as interchangeable evidence.

Current-use rule

When the bank changes a term after the recorded review, the current agreement, tariff, KFS/MITC or effective rate table controls.
