AU Small Finance Bank UPI — AU 0101
AU 0101 UPI profile with bank-published Android/iOS first-use cooling, ₹1 lakh steady-state daily debit limit, incoming-P2P controls and support for UPI Lite, UPI Circle and mandates.
Compare evidence-backed UPI implementations by app/channel, registration and mobile verification, steady-state and first-use limits, UPI Lite, RuPay credit-card merchant payments, AutoPay/mandates, UPI Circle full/partial delegation, QR/payment controls and bank-specific restrictions without presenting one universal UPI limit.
Every profile keeps its bank relationship, conditions, cautions, verification date and first-party evidence separate.

Federal Bank UPI profile focused on current UPI Lite auto top-up, UPI Circle/delegated payments and supported-account access while deliberately avoiding an unsourced single Federal daily UPI ceiling.
HDFC Bank’s UPI implementation with explicit new-user/device/SIM cooling, app-level send-money limits, separate higher-value use cases and a bank-specific RuPay-credit-card-on-UPI linking limit.
ICICI Bank iMobile UPI profile with current UPI Lite limits and auto top-up, NRI international-mobile support and explicit separation between ordinary UPI, Lite and recurring/collect use cases.
IDFC FIRST Bank UPI profile with bank-specific ₹1 lakh P2P/non-verified-merchant and ₹2 lakh verified-merchant daily limits, current UPI Lite thresholds and an explicit first-24-hour cap for linked FIRST Digital RuPay credit-card UPI.
IndusInd Bank INDIE UPI profile with a bank-specific ₹1 lakh non-merchant / ₹2 lakh specific-merchant structure, explicit 24-hour ₹5,000 UPI cooling and in-app dispute/history controls.
Kotak UPI profile with a current ₹1 lakh daily transfer ceiling, explicit ₹5,000 first-24-hour security restriction, a live transaction-count scope conflict, current UPI Lite system guidance and detailed RuPay-credit-card-on-UPI controls.
PNB UPI profile centered on the current PNB ONE/BHIM PNB stack, with PNB ONE 2.0 UPI Lite/Mandate/Credit Line support, separate UPI 123PAY access and first-party RuPay credit-card-on-UPI merchant capability.
State Bank of India UPI profile covering YONO SBI/BHIM SBI Pay limits, Android/iOS cooling rules, UPI Lite and higher-value verified-merchant categories without confusing temporary first-use controls with the steady-state ₹1 lakh UPI limit.
Union Bank's current Union ease UPI profile covering account-funded UPI, first-day cooling, merchant/P2P limits, RuPay-credit-card merchant payments, mandates, dispute/status tools and Credit Line on UPI.
YES BANK UPI profile centered on YES Pay Next with current first-day/device cooling, daily transaction controls, complaint handling and separate UPI Lite/AutoPay/card-funded payment capabilities.
Category membership alone does not make products interchangeable. Recheck the bank's current controlling agreement, tariff or effective-rate table before acting.
A NPCI/RBI ceiling defines what the rail can support for a use case; the remitter bank, app, card issuer or customer risk limit can still be lower.
New registration, device/SIM/mobile change or PIN reset can temporarily reduce value or transaction count. Compare that state separately from the steady-state limit.
Lite uses a separately funded small-value balance and different authentication. Current RBI/NPCI framework allows ₹1,000 per eligible transaction and ₹5,000 stored balance, but a bank/app can still implement stricter controls.
Linked RuPay credit cards are principally for eligible merchant UPI. NPCI excludes P2P/P2PM/card-to-card/cash-withdrawal flows and the usable amount can be lower than an ordinary bank-account UPI ceiling.
UPI AutoPay is a recurring e-mandate with pause/revoke/modify and pre-debit controls; do not infer its rules from a one-off send-money limit.
Banks can publish separate P2P inward transaction-count/value controls. A higher receive ceiling does not raise the amount you can send.
If a bank page carries a stale UPI Lite number or two current pages use different transaction-count scope, preserve the disagreement and prefer the controlling current system/bank source instead of silently harmonizing it.
Compare steady-state limits beside temporary cooling and Lite/card-funded rules. A system ceiling is not shown as a guaranteed bank allowance.
| Bank UPI service | Ordinary UPI / cooling | Lite / card / delegated UPI |
|---|---|---|
| AU Small Finance Bank UPI — AU 0101 | After cooling, up to ₹1 lakh in a single outgoing UPI transaction and ₹1 lakh/day, with maximum 20 P2P transactions in 24 hours under the current AU UPI page. AU separately publishes incoming P2P limits up to ₹4 lakh/24 hours subject to count/value rules. Android: first 24 hours after UPI registration limited to ₹5,000 or 20 transactions, whichever first. iOS: first 72 hours limited to ₹5,000 or 20 transactions per 24 hours, whichever first. | AU lists UPI Lite as a current feature. The engine uses current RBI/NPCI system limits of ₹1,000 per eligible transaction and ₹5,000 maximum stored balance unless AU publishes a stricter live app limit. Eligible RuPay-credit-card UPI is kept separate from AU account-funded UPI and follows NPCI merchant-only/issuer-risk/card/customer limit controls rather than automatically inheriting the AU deposit-account daily cap. AU explicitly lists UPI Circle as a current AU 0101 feature. The engine applies the current NPCI full-delegation guardrails of up to ₹15,000 per month and ₹5,000 per transaction, while partial delegation requires primary-user authorization; any stricter AU/live-app setting remains controlling. |
| Axis Bank UPI — open & Supported UPI Apps | Current Axis UPI terms: up to ₹1,00,000 per transaction when funding from an Axis Bank account. Other-bank accounts may use different issuing-bank limits; the engine does not turn this per-transaction statement into an unsupported universal Axis daily ceiling. Migration-specific evidence: newly re-registered migrated Citi accounts were limited to ₹5,000 in the first 24 hours on Android and ₹25,000 over the first 120 hours on iOS (₹5,000 per 24 hours). Because that source is migration-specific, generic Axis registrations follow live app/bank controls unless separately documented. | Axis terms explicitly recognize UPI Lite without UPI PIN but contain legacy ₹500 wording plus 'or as prescribed by NPCI'. Current RBI/NPCI controls are used: ₹1,000 per Lite transaction and ₹5,000 maximum stored balance, subject to any lower live app restriction. Axis's current credit-card MITC requires the registered card mobile number and a separate 6-digit UPI PIN; only eligible RuPay P2M flows are allowed. P2P, P2PM, cash withdrawal, digital-account-opening, lending, eRUPI, IPO, foreign inward remittance and mutual-fund categories are excluded, and existing UPI plus card limits both apply. Axis's first-party annual reporting says UPI Circle was launched. The engine applies the current NPCI model: full delegation can be set up to ₹15,000 per month with up to ₹5,000 per transaction, while partial delegation requires the primary user to authorize the initiated payment with UPI PIN; live participating-app support still governs availability. |
| Bank of Baroda UPI — bob e-Pay | P2P/P2PM and ordinary P2M: ₹1 lakh per transaction and ₹1 lakh/day, 20 transactions/day/account. Specified-MCC P2M: ₹2 lakh per transaction/day. IPO and RBI Retail Direct collect: ₹5 lakh per transaction and ₹15 lakh/day. USSD (*99#): ₹5,000 per transaction/day. Current table: after setting/resetting UPI PIN and fresh registration/re-verification of device, fund transfer is limited to ₹5,000. The security section describes ₹5,000 for the new user's first transaction; the live app remains controlling if additional risk restrictions apply. | bob e-Pay offers UPI Lite, but the bank page still displays legacy ₹500/₹2,000/₹4,000 numbers in its FAQ. Current RBI/NPCI limits are therefore used for current system context—₹1,000 per transaction and ₹5,000 stored balance—while the stale bank copy is surfaced as an evidence conflict rather than silently overwritten. bob e-Pay can link eligible RuPay credit cards from participating issuers. Bank FAQ states credit-card UPI is only for P2M and carries no linking/transaction fee from bob e-Pay; available credit and issuer/UPI restrictions still apply. bob e-Pay explicitly supports UPI Circle Full and Partial Delegation. Full Delegation: maximum ₹15,000/month and ₹5,000/transaction, with a 30-minute post-link cooling period and term from 1 month to 5 years. Partial Delegation requires the primary user's UPI PIN authorization for the initiated payment; primary can modify/revoke access and view transactions. |
| Canara Bank UPI — Canara ai1Pe | P2P: ₹1 lakh per transaction and ₹1 lakh/day, max 20/24h. Verified/special merchant P2M: ₹2 lakh per transaction/day. IPO/Retail Direct: ₹5 lakh per transaction and ₹10 lakh/day. Hospitals/education and tax: ₹5 lakh per transaction/day. QR from gallery: ₹2,000 per transaction / ₹10,000 daily, max 5/day. New UPI user on any enabled app with Canara remitter: Android first 24 hours up to ₹5,000; iOS first 72 hours up to ₹15,000 total, limited to ₹5,000 in each 24-hour cycle. | Current Canara terms: ₹1,000 per UPI Lite transaction, ₹5,000 maximum Lite balance and ₹10,000 cumulative daily spend. Lite is an on-device balance enabled from one eligible linked account and does not require UPI PIN for eligible Lite payments. Canara's current UPI debit table separately lists RuPay credit-card-on-UPI merchant/special-category P2M at ₹2 lakh per transaction and ₹3 lakh/day. Linking uses eligible RuPay card details/OTP and a 6-digit UPI PIN; this card-funded ceiling does not alter P2P account limits. Canara ai1Pe explicitly supports UPI Circle with Full and Partial Delegation. Current NPCI full-delegation guardrails are applied at system level—up to ₹15,000/month and ₹5,000/transaction—while partial delegation requires the primary user to authorize the payment; any stricter live Canara/app setting controls. |
| Federal Bank UPI — FedMobile & Supported UPI Apps | No single Federal-specific ordinary daily UPI number is published here from the reviewed current evidence. Use the live remitter-bank/app risk control and the applicable NPCI use-case ceiling. No universal Federal post-registration/device-change UPI cooling amount is asserted from the reviewed source set; users should follow the live app/bank restriction shown during registration or re-registration. | Federal FY2024-25 reporting: UPI Lite small-value payments up to ₹1,000 without UPI PIN plus UPI Lite Auto Top-up; current RBI/NPCI maximum stored balance is ₹5,000. Federal offers RuPay credit-card products that can participate in UPI where eligible; NPCI rules keep linked-credit-card UPI merchant-oriented and limited by the lowest card/issuer-risk/customer-set limit. Federal Bank first-party reporting documents UPI Circle availability through supporting apps. Delegation remains distinct from account ownership; current NPCI full-delegation limits are up to ₹15,000 per month and ₹5,000 per transaction, while participating-app availability and any lower Federal/app controls remain controlling. |
| HDFC Bank UPI — HDFC Bank App | App FAQ: up to 10 Send Money P2P transactions and ₹1 lakh per linked bank account within 24 hours. General limit page: P2P/P2M ₹1 lakh or 20 transactions in 24 hours; capital-market/defined collect categories ₹2 lakh; IPO ₹5 lakh. Scope conflict is preserved. New UPI user or changed device/SIM/mobile number: ₹5,000 for first 24 hours on Android and first 72 hours on iOS under the current HDFC Bank App FAQ. | Current RBI/NPCI framework is ₹1,000 per transaction and ₹5,000 maximum stored balance. A current-dated HDFC PayZapp article still carries older ₹500/₹2,000 copy, which is flagged as stale/conflicting rather than used as the current limit. HDFC allows eligible RuPay credit cards to be linked on UPI for merchant/e-commerce payment flows. HDFC currently states up to ₹1 lakh/day (₹2 lakh for certain special MCCs) subject to available card limit, with ₹5,000/day for the first 24 hours after linking; NPCI’s issuer/risk/customer-limit rule remains controlling if lower. |
| ICICI Bank UPI — iMobile | ICICI’s NRI UPI page currently states ₹1 lakh/day for its international-mobile UPI flow. The engine does not convert that NRI statement into a universal resident iMobile cap where the reviewed resident FAQ does not give an equally scoped single figure. Current NRI/international-mobile ICICI UPI guidance states ₹5,000 for the first 24 hours on Android and 72 hours on iOS after creation of a new UPI ID/VPA; this is stored as NRI-flow evidence, not generalized beyond its source scope. | ICICI current FAQ: ₹1,000 per transaction, ₹10,000 cumulative usage per day and ₹5,000 maximum Lite balance. No additional KYC; Auto Top-Up is available; Lite excludes UPI International, AutoPay and Collect. Eligible RuPay credit-card UPI should be evaluated as a separate card-funded merchant-payment state. NPCI prohibits P2P/P2PM/card-to-card/cash-withdrawal flows for linked RuPay credit cards and applies the lowest issuer-risk/card/customer limit. |
| IDFC FIRST Bank UPI — Mobile Banking & UPI | Current bank UPI page: ₹1 lakh/day fungible for P2P and non-verified-merchant payments, ₹2 lakh/day for verified merchants, and up to ₹1 lakh per P2P transaction from IDFC FIRST savings accounts. No current first-party bank-account UPI post-registration cooling figure is hard-coded from this evidence set. The profile leaves that state to the live app/bank control instead of borrowing the credit-card linking rule. | IDFC FIRST's current first-party Lite guidance states ₹1,000 per UPI Lite transaction and ₹5,000 aggregate wallet balance, with single activation through mobile banking and no UPI PIN for eligible Lite payments. FIRST Digital RuPay credit-card UPI uses the same registered mobile number, card details/OTP and UPI PIN. For the first 24 hours after UPI PIN generation, card-funded UPI is limited to ₹5,000; afterward the bank states ₹1 lakh/day under the current card guidance, subject to issuer/card/app controls and eligible merchants. No IDFC FIRST UPI Circle implementation is asserted from the reviewed current first-party source set. NPCI's delegated-payment framework is not treated as proof of bank/app participation. |
| IndusInd Bank UPI — INDIE | Up to ₹1 lakh cumulatively via up to 10 transactions to non-merchant accounts daily; up to ₹2 lakh cumulatively to specific merchants daily under the current INDIE FAQ. First 24 hours after UPI registration: up to ₹5,000 cumulatively via up to five transactions across both non-merchant and merchant payments. | Current system-level UPI Lite limits are tracked separately at ₹1,000 per eligible payment and ₹5,000 maximum stored balance. A bank-specific INDIE Lite implementation is not asserted here unless the current bank channel explicitly documents it. RuPay credit-card-on-UPI is a separate eligible card-funded merchant flow under NPCI/issuer controls; this INDIE account-UPI profile does not infer that every linked bank/card is eligible. |
| Kotak Mahindra Bank UPI — Mobile Banking & BHIM UPI | ₹1 lakh maximum daily UPI transfer is consistently stated, but current bank pages differ on transaction count: Scan & Pay says 10 transactions/day while the BHIM UPI FAQ says up to 20/day. Gallery-uploaded QR is limited to ₹2,000 per transaction on the reviewed Scan & Pay page. Current Kotak help: transactions are restricted to ₹5,000 during the first 24 hours after UPI registration. | Kotak's April 2026 first-party educational guidance reflects the current system framework—₹1,000 per Lite transaction and ₹5,000 wallet balance with Auto Top-Up. Because that is educational rather than a channel entitlement page, the profile does not claim every Kotak UPI app/version exposes Lite. Kotak RuPay credit-card UPI permits merchant P2M, not person transfers/receipts. Current bank FAQ states ₹1 lakh/day per card, ₹2 lakh/day for specified special cases, subject to available credit; first 24 hours after linking are capped at ₹5,000. P2P/P2PM, cash withdrawal, digital account opening, lending, eRUPI, IPO, foreign inward remittance and mutual funds are restricted. No current Kotak first-party source in this review set is used to assert UPI Circle/full-delegation availability. The field remains evidence-gated rather than assuming support from NPCI platform availability. |
| Punjab National Bank UPI — PNB ONE & BHIM PNB | No fresh universal PNB account-funded UPI daily ceiling is hard-coded from the 2026 public PNB ONE/UPI pages. The engine retains the older ₹50,000/day figure only as legacy evidence and requires the live PNB ONE/BHIM PNB control for current high-value usage. No current PNB-specific first-registration/device-change UPI cooling amount is asserted from the reviewed 2026 source set. Live app/risk controls remain controlling. | PNB's January 2026 results material states PNB ONE 2.0 supports UPI Lite. Current numeric system limits are kept at the RBI/NPCI framework (₹1,000 per transaction, ₹5,000 stored balance) rather than the bank's much older launch-era Lite material. PNB's current credit-card portal supports linking eligible PNB RuPay credit cards to listed UPI apps and paying merchant QR/online UPI flows using UPI PIN. The card-funded path is treated as P2M, not as a P2P/receive-funds account substitute. No current PNB first-party source in this review set is used to assert UPI Circle support. Delegated payments remain evidence-gated instead of being inferred from NPCI availability. |
| SBI UPI — YONO SBI & BHIM SBI Pay | After cooling, current SBI material states ₹1 lakh per transaction and ₹1 lakh per day for ordinary P2P/P2M, with a maximum 20 P2P transactions per 24 hours per account; P2M transaction count is governed by the value cap rather than the same 20-count rule. After setting/resetting UPI PIN: Android first 24 hours ₹5,000 maximum transaction/cumulative day; iOS ₹5,000 per day for the first five days. SBI says these controls can change under NPCI/bank discretion. | Current SBI page: up to ₹1,000 per UPI Lite payment without UPI PIN and ₹5,000 maximum Lite balance, consistent with the current RBI/NPCI framework. Keep RuPay credit-card-on-UPI separate from SBI deposit-account UPI. NPCI restricts linked RuPay credit-card UPI primarily to eligible merchant flows and sets the usable amount to the lowest applicable issuer risk/card/customer limit rather than a guaranteed bank-account UPI ceiling. |
| Union Bank UPI — Union ease | Current Union Bank FAQ: maximum ₹1 lakh per UPI transaction and a bank-set limit of 20 daily transactions under P2P and P2M. The bank states the daily transaction setting cannot be user-increased. Newly registered UPI users can transfer a maximum of ₹5,000 during the first 24 hours under the current Union Bank FAQ. | Union Bank states UPI Lite can presently be enabled in BHIM or other third-party apps. This profile therefore does not claim a Union-ease-hosted Lite balance or bank-specific Lite numeric limits. Union ease can link eligible RuPay credit cards issued by Union Bank or another issuer that is live for credit-card-on-UPI. Visa/Mastercard credit cards are not supported for this feature. Card-funded UPI uses a separate UPI PIN and is treated as UPI merchant-payment activity. No current Union Bank first-party statement in this reviewed page is used to assert UPI Circle/delegated-payment support; it remains evidence-gated. |
| YES BANK UPI — YES Pay Next | Current YES Pay Next FAQ states a maximum 20 UPI transactions aggregating to ₹1 lakh in a day for its ordinary UPI flow. New registration or device switch: current YES Pay Next FAQ states a maximum ₹5,000 during the first 24 hours. iOS has additional early-use restrictions in YES BANK material, so the live app/current FAQ controls the exact post-24-hour progression. | UPI Lite is supported in YES BANK’s current payment stack; current RBI/NPCI limits are ₹1,000 per eligible payment and ₹5,000 maximum stored balance. Bank/app implementation controls such as auto top-up are kept separate. Eligible RuPay credit-card-on-UPI is merchant-oriented and subject to card/issuer/customer limits under NPCI rules; this profile does not treat the bank account’s ₹1 lakh/day statement as a guaranteed card-funded allowance. |
